Sue’s main focus is to retain the finest traditions and charms of a Cotswold country pub, whilst reflecting the Zeitgeist in modern trends.
Sue’s approach is to combine the best that modern pub food can offer, utilising the skills of the finest talented chefs in the business, combining skilfully executed dishes made from fresh and locally sourced ingredients with traditional cask ales and a range of quality wines and spirits all served with a welcoming smile.
For Sue, the key features to a great pub, are atmosphere, one that has something to offer to all, a place to meet with family and friends, to meet new people or to find a cosy corner where you can relax and read a good book whilst enjoying your favourite single malt.
Sue is a keen animal lover and a dedicated dog owner, so she has introduced a dog friendly policy whereby Sue remarks ‘all doggies get VID (Very Important Dog) treatment at The Bell, and along with the usual bar snacks you’ll find a large jar jam packed with deluxe doggie treats!’
Sue runs The Bell Inn with her daughter Louise who holds the position of general manager, this mother/daughter combination creates a true sense of family, one of which is offered to all visitors to The Bell Inn at Willersey.
